100-Punkte-Bewertungsmethodik für Schläger

Every paddle on Pickleball3 is scored on the same 10 categories, each rated 0 to 10. The total is the sum of those ten scores, presented out of 100. Same questions, every paddle, same measurements, so the only thing that changes is the paddle itself.

Worauf der Score basiert

Scores come from the sample in hand: static weight, swing weight, grip circumference, face material, core construction, and on-court behavior in the same shot situations. Manufacturer specs are checked for context, but they do not replace sample-based measurement.

Die 10 Kategorien

Control
Placement accuracy on dinks, drops, and resets. How easy is it to put the ball where you want it?
Power
Ceiling for pace and put-away shots. The maximum pop a paddle can deliver.
Spin
RPM and ball rotation generation. How much spin can the paddle put on the ball?
Sweet spot
Forgiveness on off-center contact. How large and forgiving is the effective hitting zone?
Stability
Torsional rigidity. How well does the paddle resist twisting on mishits?
Maneuverability
Swing weight and quick handling at the net. How fast can you react?
Comfort
Vibration and arm-friendliness, especially for players managing elbow or wrist sensitivity.
Forgiveness
Overall margin for inconsistent contact across the face.
Reach
Effective reach on extended shots. How far does the paddle extend your arm?
Value
Performance per dollar. How does the score compare to retail price?

Einschränkungen

Scores are not universal truth. The same paddle can land differently for different players, and sample variation matters, so we report what we measured rather than promising that every unit will behave identically.

Aktualisierungsrichtlinie

If the measurement protocol changes, or if a category definition needs tighter wording, we revise this page and carry the updated method into future reviews. Existing reviews stay tied to the method that was used when they were written, with later notes calling out any change in context.
